The unfortunate reality about sports is that they’re severely limited to what the laws of physics and the human body can allow and endure. That’s where “vsports” come in.
CCP Games, the developer behind EVE Online, announced Sparc today, a brand new competitive virtual reality game self-described as a vsport — or VR sport. The game looks like an intense, first-person version of Pong except players’ hands act as the paddles as the game ball whips back and forth across the futuristic arena.
“Players use their motion controllers to throw projectiles at their opponents from a distance, and in turn defend themselves by dodging, blocking or deflecting the incoming attacks,” CCP Games said in a release. Read more…
