Your first cry at the Oscars is meeting one of the real-life ‘Hidden Figures’

Sorry, “In memoriam” segment.

One of the biggest tear-worthy moments of the Oscars on Sunday came early on in the night thanks to an appearance from one of the real-life Hidden Figures.

Katherine Johnson — a physicist, space scientist and mathematician — joined Taraji P. Henson (who plays her in the film), Janelle Monae and Octavia Spencer on stage to present an award.

And the moment brought out a lot of emotions from viewers.
