Here’s a super nerdy analysis of the music in ‘Zelda: Breath of the Wild’

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild soundtrack is beautiful on the surface, but YouTuber Mark Brown digs a little deeper to see exactly what makes the sound design of the latest Zelda games such a success.

In the video above, Brown explains how underneath Breath of the Wild‘s visceral piano plinks and violin plucks is a very nuanced orchestration that echoes Zelda games of the past without completely lifting classic theme songs or tunes.
