Jeremy Corbyn can’t resist a delicious Pringle while greeting his supporters

TwitterFacebook

Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn has been hot on the campaign trail in preparation for next week’s general election.

While greeting his supporters in Cambridge yesterday, a man in the crowd asked him if he wanted a Pringle. Odd question to be asked while shaking hands with the people. Nevertheless, Corbyn happily accepted the crisp and scarfed it down on the spot.

This guy quit his job to become a full-time banana artist

TwitterFacebook

Historically, bananas have had just two main uses: 1) a source of nourishment, and 2) a handy way to spin rival plumbers off course in a go-kart race.

As it turns out, though, there’s a third use.

For the past six years, 39-year-old Stephan Brusche from Rotterdam, the Netherlands, has been turning them into works of art.

Unicorn toast that looks like an actual unicorn is too adorable to eat

TwitterFacebook

Unicorn-themed stuff is the colourful Instagram trend that keeps on going.

But this unicorn toast from a Malaysian cafe is one of the few you can actually say is true to the name. Rather than just being a psychedelic rainbow colour, it’s gone further by looking like an actual unicorn, complete with a horn and everything.

The cafe, Haraju-Cube, specialises in Japanese desserts, and the unicorn is pretty darn kawaii.

A post shared by HarajuCube (@harajucube) on May 25, 2017 at 9:27pm PDT

The limited-edition Unicorn-Berry toast is made out of a charcoal thick toast base, with marshmallow meringue, berry ice-cream, and an ice-cream cone. On top, a cotton candy cloud sits on the pastel creation. Read more…

Neil deGrasse Tyson’s tweet about Trump and the Paris Agreement is dire

TwitterFacebook

As reports circulate that Donald Trump is set to pull the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Agreement, many people are wondering where it all went wrong.

Science has been under attack by Trump’s administration, exemplified by the dismantling of pivotal climate change policies in one fell swoop.

So how is the U.S. poised to pull out of the Paris Agreement, the one last chance scientists believe we have to stop catastrophic climate change? It’s pretty simple, as Neil deGrasse Tyson summed up in one tweet. And it’s dire. Read more…

Ed Sheeran busts out his guitar in glorious Carpool Karaoke trailer

TwitterFacebook

It was only a matter of time before Ed Sheeran took part in Carpool Karaoke — and judging by the fact the trailer already has around 13,000 views in its first 10 minutes, this one’s going to be big.

In the all-too-brief teaser for next Tuesday’s London edition of The Late Late Show, Sheeran and Corden sing along to “Castle on the Hill” and “Sing” and just generally look like they’re having a lovely time together.

Ed even brings along his guitar for the occasion. Read more…

Hillary Clinton drops ‘covfefe’ burn on Twitter, but people are kinda over it already

TwitterFacebook

Covfefe come, covfefe go.

Hillary Clinton was the latest person on Twitter to use the word “covfefe,” created by Trump’s slippery fingers. It was mere hours after joking it was a Russian code word at the Code Conference.

We all laughed when “covfefe” happened, but nearly 24 hours on, Clinton’s tweet on Wednesday night seems about as over as rickrolling your friend.

Is “covfefe” and its 15 minutes of fame over and done with yet? Well, Chrissy Teigen thought it was over awhile ago.  Read more…
