Amazon Alexa finally supports iCloud calendars

If you use Amazon’s trusty AI, Alexa, for all your scheduling needs, we have some good news for you.

Amazon announced on Wednesday that Alexa-compatible devices now finally support Apple’s iCloud calendars. While Alexa has previously synced with other major calendar services — including Google Calendar, G Suite, Outlook, and Office 365 — the AI assistant has been notably lacking integration with iCloud calendars … until now.

With the update, iCloud calendar users can review and adjust current calendar events and issue commands to add new appointments to their schedules. 

That means whether you have a doctor’s visit or a brunch with the squad, your BFF Alexa will not only remind you, but now she’ll do one step farther and sync to your appointment to iCloud calendars. Read more…
