A simple smoothie run turned out to be an encounter of a lifetime for Lorde and a fan.
The New Zealand artist is preparing for her headlining set at Governor’s Ball in New York City, and stopped by a Liquiteria for some fuel on Tuesday. While at the juice shop, she was recognized by the cashier who happened to be a fan.
“This is my first smoothie for a famous person. She got a Blue Velvet, I am shook,” Twitter user and Liquiteria employee @ThatEmely exclaimed in a video, before flipping the camera to show an excited Lorde. The video was shared on Twitter and quickly went viral. Read more…
