8-year-old sends letter to Betsy DeVos to protect her public school

Maybe, for a second, we should just listen to the children.

Concerned about the fate of the public school she attends, second grade student Willa Kohn wrote a heartbreaking message to Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos to tell her just how much she loves her school.

Willa, daughter of CNN commentator Sally Kohn, got a postcard from a store in Brooklyn celebrating art from the Women’s March, and wanted to send it to “the woman in charge of education.” 

Here’s what she wrote:
