CNN won’t drop out of this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner like President Donald Trump, but they’re still going to do things a bit differently.
Outlets such as CNN often invite celebrities along as guests, but this year CNN plans to bring journalism students.
“We feel there is no better way to underscore our commitment to the health and longevity of a free press than to celebrate its future,” CNN said in a statement tweeted from its communications Twitter account.
