Anson Mount is trading in his cowboy hat for a crown. The Hell on Wheels star has nabbed the lead role in Marvel and ABC’s Inhumans series, in which he’ll play Black Bolt, the enigmatic, commanding King of the Inhumans, with a voice so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city.
Because of the nature of Black Bolt’s powers, don’t expect him to be very talkative.
“Anson loves the challenge of playing a character who will only communicate silently,” said Jeph Loeb, Head of Marvel Television and executive producer of the series. “His enthusiasm mixed with his imposing, almost regal persona made it easy to see why he is our Black Bolt.” Read more…
